Casey + Alice: Wadsworth Homestead Wedding Photography

Throughout the wedding planning, Alice made jokes about how things are different when you get married in your 30s as opposed to your 20s. Example? There are more children involved, which often means more logistics to work out. It became a running joke throughout the day every time something went a little awry (as it sometimes can).

We made jokes - but there are benefits to waiting a little longer to get married. It may sometimes mean you actually can have your dream wedding, in an amazing location like The Wadsworth Homestead. No joke, we could have shot portraits all day and would have never had a lack of ideas. The house and the grounds are so incredibly beautiful. Even the horses in the field wanted in on the day. (They were adamant about being in a few of Casey and Alice's evening portraits!)

It was easy to see what Alice and Casey fell in love with about the Geneseo NY venue.

But besides that - I believe that getting married in your 30s, means that you truly get it. You get WHY you want to get married to the person standing next to you, and you are that much more joyful all day long. It shows. Alice and Casey exemplified that joy, every second of their day, and they wanted everyone they loved to share in it with them.

Everything about the day was amazing - beautiful venue, wonderful people, delicious food, amazing sunset, s'mores by the fire pit, and photo-bombing horses. It went by so fast, as they always do.

Alice and Casey - Thank you for inviting us to share, witness and capture your joy. We wish you a life time of love and happiness!
