Lauren & Steve: Midvale Country Club Wedding Photography

Lauren and Steve had a wonderful fall themed wedding, with beautiful brown and orange hues everywhere from the dresses, to the flowers, to even the playing card favors. It was gorgeous! There is also something really nice about a wedding day that takes place all in one location. The Midvale Country Club is a great venue for such a purpose. Both the Ladies and Gents were able to get ready in their respective locker rooms, then head upstairs for an intimate ceremony. We then headed outside for photos, while the room was transformed for the reception. Having everything in one location helped to make the day more relaxed and fun for the bridal party!

Both Lauren and Steve are hair stylists, so I joked with the girls that there was a little more hair spray than usual at this wedding! I loved hearing the stories of young Steve cutting his own hair - several of the groomsmen attested to his talents during the toasts. The whole bridal party was a lot of fun to work with and made the wedding day enjoyable for everyone. There was a lot of joy in the room as these two said their I-Do's, that's for sure.

Leading up to the wedding day, the weather looked gloomy.  Unfortunately the wind moved the ceremony indoors, but the sun did come out allowing us on to the golf course for some fun images with the bridal party! We had a great time while the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour. Later on, Steve Turner got the party started and kept it hopping all night long! When guests weren't dancing, they wandered into our unboxed Photo Booth for some fun and silly images.

Lauren and Steve, thank you so much for inviting us to capture your day! Best wishes for a happy and amazing life together!
