Snow on the ground won't stop an engagement session with us from happening. Even though we're very ready for spring (bring on the sunshine and flip flops, please Mother Nature?) we'll brave the elements, or find a nice warm, "all season" environment to photograph in. For Megan and Matt's engagement session, we photographed in almost all of the seasons. Having traveled home from Kansas this weekend to do some wedding planning, it was great to be able to fit in their engagement session before they raced off to the airport to beat a snowstorm home.
For those that have never been, the Highland Park Conservatory is a cute and perfect location to not only get in out of the snow, you also get an "all-climate" location! From the tropical rainforest room to the arid desert space, it's so much fun to explore.
We played around at the conservatory, and took some gorgeous photographs along the way. And when we were done inside, we stepped outside into the snow, to add one more climate to their selection of images.
We think you'll be able to tell from these images, these two are truly a beautiful couple in love with each other.
Thank you Megan and Matt for sharing a few moments with us on your whirlwind, weekend trip home! We're already looking forward to your wedding this summer... and of course our flip flops.
