Wow, did anyone see where October went? I know it was here, but then I blinked and it was gone. What a fantastically crazy month we just had! From beautiful weddings to fun fall family portraits (say that 5 times fast), it's been a whirlwind of images we've loved creating. If you were a part of it all, thank you so much! Now that the candy has been handed out, and we're well into eating the leftovers – it's time to talk turkey. Yes, Thanksgiving is on our doorstep, which for us means Small Business Saturday. If you haven't heard of it before, it's essentially Black Friday's smarter, better looking, little brother.
And yes, believe me, we get it, we don't want to think about Christmas too soon either. It's frustrating to see the Christmas decorations next to the back to school supplies. We tried to wait as long as we could. But here's the thing – we really want you to know and consider supporting a small, local business this holiday season. It would mean the world to us if you did. Why? Because this year not only would you be supporting small business, but a portion of the proceeds from this special offer will go to benefit Toys for Tots.
So is that a good reason to announce it early? We thought so. Just think of all the good karma you'll gain if you take advantage of this offer.
Ok, so here's the details: Between now, and November 30, you can purchase a Special Holiday Mini Session. Use it for yourself or as a gift. This is only the 2nd time we have offered mini sessions, and who knows when the next will be. So take advantage of this one while you can. Plus, there are some special benefits to this one.
Who: You and your (up to) 5 favorite people! What: A fun, relaxed 30 minute portrait session, online gallery and your choice of (5) digital files or (5) 5x7 prints Where: Rochester or Fairport When: You can use your mini session between November 2013 to April 2014 Why: It's the giving season, so a portion of your session fee will support Toys for Tots! Plus, it's a great gift idea! How: Find more details and get yours here!
So let me recap: great gift idea, support a small business, donate to a good cause and receive priceless images of your family. No matter how you look at it - this is an all around win. Sounds like a no brainer to me...
