Including hobbies in a senior portrait session is a lot of fun! It provides not just props, but actions. We had students with wide ranges of interest this year, including cars (both fixing and driving), guitars, reading, writing, sewing, biking and more. We also got to include some friends and family members along the way. Here are a few examples of some unique senior photos we created this year.
It's not very often that we get serenaded on a senior session. I asked Matt to play for us and play he did! We heard a variety of current songs, and a few he has written himself. He was easily most comfortable when he was playing, so we incorporated the guitar into much of his session. We also did some photos in his backyard, surrounded by the beautiful gardens they have. His favorite tree is the birch, so we had to include those. He is also quite the runner, boasting a 4.5 minute mile. Yeah, I can't compete with this kid.
Enjoy this session peek!

Leo's senior portrait session was unlike one we've ever photographed before. I'm seriously excited to show you these images, and the fusion video we created to go with it!
Leo is a fun, outgoing 2015 senior at Penfield High School. When we talked about all of the things he wanted to incorporate into this session, the ideas just started flowing! He's really into cars, and has a super terrific uncle who let us borrow this beauty of a classic car for the day. I just LOVE some of the images that came out of it, and Leo looks like that car suits him well!
Leo also enjoys his guitar, snowboarding and fishing in his free time, so it was fun to incorporate all of those into his session as well.
We hope you enjoy this fusion video as much as we enjoyed making it! Let us know what you think, or upgrade your session to a fusion session to add video clips and tell your story in a different way. Below are a few of our favorite still captures from the day.
Thanks so much Leo-- you were incredible to work with and everyone had a great time! Enjoy your senior year!
