Meet Alyssa : Our Brand New L&E Intern!

I want to take a moment to thank all of the applicants for our new internship program. We had quite the task narrowing it down and choosing just one. Thank you to all of you who applied, I wish we could work with all of you! Now, when looking at the applications we received, one did stand out. When asked about her passions, she mentioned wine and dogs. Was she trying to butter us up? She's also attending my alma mater, RIT, more points there. And when we set up the Skype interview, it just clicked. I knew she was the right match for our business, and that she would fit in well here.

So without further ado, I'd like you to meet Alyssa! We are very excited to have her on board and the timing couldn't be better. She started just 2 days after Erin gave birth to Lucas. (More to come on that later!)

She'll be helping around the office, assisting on portrait sessions and learning what it's like to run a photography business! So please help me welcome Alyssa to the team!

My name is Alyssa and I am currently finishing up my last semester at RIT. I come from Kearney, Nebraska, but I’ve spent the last 3 years studying Advertising Photography in Rochester. I’m so excited to intern for Lori & Erin these next few months! I love meeting new people and I’ve had a great time assisting Lori already. I am really looking forward to getting an up-close view of how to run an amazing business.

Plus, hanging out with Lori’s dogs is huge perk. :)

~ Alyssa
