Pittsford NY Senior Portraits: Kendall at the Beach

Looking at Kendall's senior portrait session makes me long for summer again... We hit up the beach for this gorgeous girl's senior portraits. Kendall is the Yearbook Editor for Pittsford Sutherland High School, so she has seen a few senior photos in her time! She brought some great outfits, and was up for anything... even if it meant getting in the not-so-clean water of Lake Ontario. Mom accompanied us on the session and encouraged Kendall to try whatever! It all came together so beautifully. Charlotte Beach has a lot to offer, and I'm really excited about the variety we got from this session. Thanks Kendall! Good luck with those yearbook deadlines!

Lima Christian School Senior Portraits

I don't think I've seen anyone else so excited for their senior portrait session. Truly! When we arrived at Linear Park for Allison's session, she was glowing with excitement! It was a gorgeous summer night, and Allison was simply amazing to photograph. She is such a happy, upbeat person, and I'm glad we were really able to show that in her images. Allison is also very active in several sports, but her favorite is softball. We ended the night with that fierce expression, one you'd see during one of her games. I sure wouldn't want to compete against her!

Thanks for bringing your sparking self into our lives, and making this such a fun memory. Best wishes Allison!

It was an honor to work with Vinnie and Cinnamon this year! Vinnie is the senior class President at Penfield High School, the libero for the varsity volleyball team, and owner of Cinnamon-- the adorable little dog. We hit up the beach volleyball court at Fellows Road, even though Vinnie mostly plays indoor. The location gave us lots of possibilities, and we even saw the first few leaves on the ground. Hard to imagine, as now they are all gone! If you don't know Vinnie, you should. He is a really great kid with a bright future for sure. Thanks for choosing Lori and Erin Photography, and best wishes for a fantastic year! -Lori

Meet Dana: a wonderful student at Fairport High School. It was my pleasure to meet Dana for her senior photos, and do something a little unique. We started at her house and worked around her mother's fabulous gardens. Dana was the first senior whom I've had request to include her cat also! As I'm always up for anything, or course we did! A little while into the session, Dana's friend, (and another of my senior's this year) Monica, came biking up the driveway. She jumped in a few shots with Dana and her car before we headed off to Corbett's Glen to finish up the session.

Thanks for the adventure girls, it was a pleasure meeting and photographing you both!

Penfield Senior Pictures: Aaron

Meet Aaron: laid back, easy going and in his senior year at Penfield High School. We met at the Penfield Town Hall on a nice summer evening. The location offered a great deal of options in a small area: brick, trees, steps, white doors, and flowers. Aaron brought his amazing smile, and that was all we needed for a great evening of portraits. It was a pleasure working with you, have a great year Aaron!-Lori

Jordan is a laid back senior, into soccer and skiing. He wanted an architectural element to his photos, so we walked around the Village of Fairport. We definitely found some great locations for some unique looks. Then we headed back to his yard to grab some shots with his dog, Whiskey. We also grabbed some casual shots in his favorite soccer jersey. This really was an easy going session, thanks to Jordan! Great seniors make for great sessions! ~ Lori

Have a great senior year! Lori

Karli is a beautiful senior girl at Hilton High School. We met out at Mendon Ponds Park for her senior photos. My favorite images include the barn and sunflower field that were just up the road. She kept her outfits simple, but they worked so well! Thanks for the adventure Karli, and have a great senior year! -Lori

A Senior Session on the Ice: Fairport NY High School

We love it when our senior sessions present a unique opportunity. Luke not only gave us a unique opportunity, but he also gave us a fun challenge. He's a goalie for the Fairport Hockey team. So after we did some of his senior portraits at home, we headed over to Thomas Creek Ice Arena. He suited up, while we lit up the ice rink...very carefully. It definitely fun to try some new things and get some different looks than usual!

And, we even managed to stay upright on the ice the whole time. I think that almost qualifies us for the Stanley Cup...right?

Victor High School Senior Portraits: Matt

It's not very often that we get serenaded on a senior session. I asked Matt to play for us and play he did! We heard a variety of current songs, and a few he has written himself. He was easily most comfortable when he was playing, so we incorporated the guitar into much of his session. We also did some photos in his backyard, surrounded by the beautiful gardens they have. His favorite tree is the birch, so we had to include those. He is also quite the runner, boasting a 4.5 minute mile. Yeah, I can't compete with this kid.

Senior Photos at Sunken Gardens & Corbetts Glen

We had a perfect morning – not to hot, not to cold for Julia's senior session. We went to both the Sunken Gardens and Corbett's Glen to make some incredible images for her senior portraits. I love those locations because you get a variety of architecture and natural elements to work with. Julia looked incredible in all of her outfits and we had a blast! Julia is also a swimmer and avid kickboxer, so I had her show me a stance at the end of the session. I wouldn't want to get in her way, that's for sure!

Enjoy the photos, and best wishes Julia! -Lori

McQuaid Jesuit Senior Portraits

We only needed one location for Jack's session: the boat house. We went to Genessee Valley Park along the Genessee River to photograph senior portraits for the McQuaid coxswain. Jack is a great, easy going kid, and it was my pleasure to photograph him for the, gasp, third time. The first time I met him, he was a freshman and my how time flies! He was wonderful to work with, and pulled some strings to get us in the boat house. We even got on the water, even though Jack is not actually a rower. He did his best and we had a lot of fun.

canandaigua,senior portraits,

She came to me with an idea. Monica said, 'Can we shoot in Canandaigua?' I'm always game for anything, and it turned out to be an amazing place for photos. We walked around downtown, incorporated the murals and architecture, and ended up down by the water. It was a wonderful evening, and we had so much fun. Monica is the Stage Manager this year for Fairport High School, so she surprised me by being a natural in front of the camera! I loved her red shoes, fabric filled suit case and bubbly personality.

Monica-- thank you for a fun session! Have a great year!

PS: Special thanks to my always amazing assistant for this shoot, Linda!
