Victor High School Senior Portraits at Eastman Museum

This is Erin. She just got back from a service trip building houses in PA. She's also into running, playing her ukulele and hanging out with friends. We enjoyed a gorgeous night in the Eastman Museum gardens for her senior portraits. Alexa, her sister, even joined us for a few shots!

Check em out, because you can't ignore those beautiful brown eyes.

Have an awesome year Erin!

Senior portraits with horse and dog, Canandigua Academy

Sara has loved horses since she was a little girl. Now she competes in barrel races and has three horses at home on their family farm! They also have several dogs and cats. And with all of those animals, their home still felt so peaceful. I loved spending time with Sara, Becky (mom), Max (horse) and Charley (dog) before we headed to Canandaigua Lake to wrap up the session there.

I had so much fun with this super sweet family!

And to top it all off - a sunset to die for! I just loved this session. Enjoy, and what are you waiting for? Schedule your unique at home senior portraits now!

Harley School Senior Photos: Allison

Allison recently walked across the stage to receive her diploma from the Harley School. But before she did, we created some portraits around campus and at the Public Market. Having practiced fencing for 7 years, it was a no brainer to include some shots in uniform! It was a windy day, but we enjoyed ourselves immensely and the photos came out fantastic. See for yourself!

Congratulations Allison!

Congratulations to the Class of 2016: Rochester NY High School Senior Portraits

It's hard to believe another school year has passed. We're so honored to be able to capture this amazing time for our graduating high school seniors. We love learning about who you are and what activities make you - you. It's exciting to watch what adventures you have planned take shape.

We just want to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our Class of 2016 graduates. They come from high schools all over the Rochester area. From Fairport to McQuaid to Spencerport and everywhere in between. Each one with their own path to take after they graduate.

Congratulations to each and every one of these Seniors! We wish you all the best in all of your future endeavors!

Fairport Swimming Senior Photos: Suhan

We met Suhan at the Northern Stone Design Center on Route 31, just as it started to sprinkle. She braved the weather with us, and it turned out to be a gorgeous evening! I loved adding the umbrella for a little twist, and she looked amazing in all of her outfits. Not only did she change her clothes, but she had new shoes and earrings to go with each outfit. I asked her to be my personal shopper... we'll see how that goes :) Suhan is also a captain for the Fairport swim team, so of course we had to get in the water! I loved working in her environment, and she even showed us her speed in the water! This was another great evening, thanks for working with us Suhan! Have a fantastic senior year!

Fairport High School Senior Pictures: Kyle

Kyle has many sides, but one great personality - easy going and fun. He breezed through his senior portrait session with ease and even a little goofing off - because, who doesn't want to show off their best Heisman trophy pose whenever possible, right?

What I love about our seniors, is how involved they are in their community and their school. It provides so many awesome options for senior pictures. We covered everything from Kyle's Eagle Scout project at the Fairport food bank, to his signature bow tie look, and even got a little rugby action involved.

Oh, and by the way, a high school senior session with us is not complete until Mom gets in at least one photo in too. LOVE IT!

Get Personal with High School Senior Books

Get Personal with High School Senior Books

This new book option is a perfect way to combine your thoughts on who you are today and your senior portraits. It's a fun keepsake to have from your high school years, that you'll be glad you have when these days are long gone.

FAQ: Where should we go for my senior portrait session?

We are location based photographers. This means we shoot anywhere BUT inside a boring, stuffy studio. There's no laser light backgrounds in our lives!

Instead, we photograph our seniors in their favorite places and spaces. Do you love hanging out at the beach, or are you more at home on the ice? Or maybe you love shopping at the Rochester Public Market or cheering for the Red Wings!

Some of you may have a spot or two that fits your personality to the 'T', but others are not always sure. Maybe you know what you want the photos to feel like, but aren't sure where to find that look.

DON'T PANIC!  We've got you covered.

We have created a list of nearly 100 spots around the area that provide unique environments for your senior photos. Whether you want something urban (but safe), formal with columns, or a casual barn setting, we've got the spot. Fields, waterfalls, trails, piers, docks, flowers, you name it, we'll find it.

Still need help selecting the location for your shoot, come on in! This is one of the things we go over at your complimentary consultation. We'll get to know more about you, your interests and personality. We use that information to plan the perfect spots to visit for your senior photos.

Rochester NY Senior Photographs: Ned

Ned is a senior at the Linsley School in West Virginia. Originally from the Pittsburgh area, he moved here with his parents just before starting high school. He attended Penfield High School, and then transferred to the Linsley School in hopes of studying pre-law in college.

For his session, we enjoyed the abstract art and ambience that is the Village Gate. Inside and out, there are photos to be made everywhere.

Good luck next year Ned!

Enjoy!

Class of 2016 in Review | Senior Photos in Rochester NY

Working with high school seniors is always a joy. For each session, we step into their shoes, explore their interests, hobbies, and personalities. We also learn about what they want for the future.

I love getting to know each student and highlight them in a way that makes them proud, and us proud.

To the class of 2016: you are unique. Cherish that, and embrace whatever comes next. We wish the best for you, and hope to see you again soon!

Blog Features for the Class of 2016:

Innovation Field and Public Market High School Senior Portraits

We love making every session we photograph relate to our clients loves. That holds true even with our high school seniors. Teartiyana, or as we now call her, T, was SO much fun to photograph. She LOVES the Rochester Red Wings. So naturally, we were excited, when we learned we were getting Frontier Field to ourselves for her senior session!

From the suites to the dugout, we took advantage of all of the opportunities to knock T's senior portraits out of the park. Yes, I realize that was a terrible joke, but c'mon it was there and just begging for me to say it.

After we finished at the park, we rounded out her session at the Public Market where the murals and the architecture fit her personality perfectly. We even got some really cute pictures with her dog, Seymour, on the field and at the market.

Teartiyana, we had so much fun with you! Enjoy the rest of your senior year!

Spencerport High School Senior Pictures: Nikolas

Have no fear: Nikolas rocked his senior session at Durand Eastman Park. He seemed a little nervous at the beginning, but by the end of the session we had him swimming in the lake. So he may have been quiet, but he was also adventurous. We had a lot of fun!

He's a runner and a swimmer for Spencerport High School. With being on the cross-country team, it made sense to photograph him as though he's running a trail in the woods. And to make the session even more exciting, Nikolas was willing to jump in the lake in his swimming gear. I'm guessing it was a little chilly, but he was a trooper!

Thanks for braving the elements with us! Have a great senior year Nikolas! Go Spencerport! ~ Lori & Erin
