Victor High School Senior Portraits: Justin

I'd like you to meet Justin, and his adorable lab, Micco!

This right here is what all senior sessions should be... a little bit of adventure, and a lot of fun! We explored the village of Victor and found some great settings for Justin.

We showed off his casual side, got a little patriotic, and then went up the hill to Ganondagan where you can find him running with the cross-country team. He told me about this great view, and we managed to get there right at sunset. Perfect timing. :)

Tim: Penfield Wrestling & Football High School Senior Pictures

If you are looking for Tim, you'll either find him on the wrestling mat, the football field, or hanging out by the bridge with his friends.

As it turns out, the bridge in Ellison Park where he spends his time is also an awesome spot for senior portraits! Between that and the Penfield High School Stadium, we had 2 perfect backdrops. Tim's older sisters were in town, so they joined in the fun too.

This session was everything I hope for in a senior portrait session, great people, fun times and awesome results. See for yourself, and call for your session before it's too late!

Congratulations to the Class of 2016: Rochester NY High School Senior Portraits

It's hard to believe another school year has passed. We're so honored to be able to capture this amazing time for our graduating high school seniors. We love learning about who you are and what activities make you - you. It's exciting to watch what adventures you have planned take shape.

We just want to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our Class of 2016 graduates. They come from high schools all over the Rochester area. From Fairport to McQuaid to Spencerport and everywhere in between. Each one with their own path to take after they graduate.

Congratulations to each and every one of these Seniors! We wish you all the best in all of your future endeavors!

Fairport High School Senior Pictures: Kyle

Kyle has many sides, but one great personality - easy going and fun. He breezed through his senior portrait session with ease and even a little goofing off - because, who doesn't want to show off their best Heisman trophy pose whenever possible, right?

What I love about our seniors, is how involved they are in their community and their school. It provides so many awesome options for senior pictures. We covered everything from Kyle's Eagle Scout project at the Fairport food bank, to his signature bow tie look, and even got a little rugby action involved.

Oh, and by the way, a high school senior session with us is not complete until Mom gets in at least one photo in too. LOVE IT!

FAQ: Where should we go for my senior portrait session?

We are location based photographers. This means we shoot anywhere BUT inside a boring, stuffy studio. There's no laser light backgrounds in our lives!

Instead, we photograph our seniors in their favorite places and spaces. Do you love hanging out at the beach, or are you more at home on the ice? Or maybe you love shopping at the Rochester Public Market or cheering for the Red Wings!

Some of you may have a spot or two that fits your personality to the 'T', but others are not always sure. Maybe you know what you want the photos to feel like, but aren't sure where to find that look.

DON'T PANIC!  We've got you covered.

We have created a list of nearly 100 spots around the area that provide unique environments for your senior photos. Whether you want something urban (but safe), formal with columns, or a casual barn setting, we've got the spot. Fields, waterfalls, trails, piers, docks, flowers, you name it, we'll find it.

Innovation Field and Public Market High School Senior Portraits

We love making every session we photograph relate to our clients loves. That holds true even with our high school seniors. Teartiyana, or as we now call her, T, was SO much fun to photograph. She LOVES the Rochester Red Wings. So naturally, we were excited, when we learned we were getting Frontier Field to ourselves for her senior session!

From the suites to the dugout, we took advantage of all of the opportunities to knock T's senior portraits out of the park. Yes, I realize that was a terrible joke, but c'mon it was there and just begging for me to say it.

After we finished at the park, we rounded out her session at the Public Market where the murals and the architecture fit her personality perfectly. We even got some really cute pictures with her dog, Seymour, on the field and at the market.

Teartiyana, we had so much fun with you! Enjoy the rest of your senior year!

George Eastman Museum Senior Portraits: Abby

Working with Abby at the George Eastman Museum was like a walk in the park, errr, gardens... because it was! Her family has ties to photography and have been members at the Museum. Plus, it's just gorgeous, and so is Abby! We were able to get a good variety of images while enjoying the grounds and the beautiful fall day. Thanks for choosing us, Abby, and best wishes for a great senior year!

Honeoye Falls Senior Photos: Hannah

When I first met Hannah, she told me she was looking for something different. She didn't want "normal" senior photos. We were happy to oblige that request!

One of the places she enjoys is the Public Market. Well, the location certainly fit! We went on a day the market wasn't open, and wow are there opportunities! Graffiti, architecture, and texture galore! It's an awesome place and Hannah's an awesome girl! We even got mom involved for some photos, and of course, the dogs too! Such a fun session, thanks Hannah!

Brighton High School Senior Pictures: Daniel

We asked Daniel to describe his perfect selfie - he responded with "I am on top of Mount Fuji, in a hot tub with some diamonds and explosions in the background."

Well played Daniel, well played. From the answers he gave, we knew his session would be nothing short of entertaining. We've photographed him before with his family, so we know that Daniel is definitely a fun guy to be around!

We laughed a lot, and his session went smoothly. We even got some great shots with their dog, Kojo, a big loveable best friend. Oh, and we got a little goofy on a tricycle... there's nothing wrong with having a little fun on the job, right?!

Daniel, while we didn't get your Mount Fuji request in, we definitely had a blast with you. Have a great senior year! ~ Lori and Erin

Penfield High School Senior Portrait: Anna

This was my first time photographing Anna, but second time with the family dog, Cinnamon. Does he look familiar? If so, it's because you saw him last year on the blog, with Anna's brother, Vinnie. It's always a pleasure to work with repeat clients, and I just love this family.

For Anna's session, we explored the park surrounding the Town Hall in Penfield. The connection for Anna is that she has played on the stage there as part of the high school band, but it was also a beautiful and secluded landscape - which made for excellent for photos! Now that's a win-win!

Anna, you are gorgeous. Go on, rock your senior year, I can't wait to see what you do next!

Senior Photos in Fairport, NY: George

George is a quiet boy who likes nature and water. For him, a walk along the boardwalk and canal was the perfect fit for his senior pictures. He rocked that pink button down, and those eyes sure can tell a story! They don't come much sweeter than this. I really enjoyed photographing George.
