What do you do when every single time you have a family portrait session in the fall, it rains?
Well, after countless reschedules and the holiday season quickly approaching? You go forward with your family mini sessions at Tinker Park anyway. In the rain.
Because yes, fall is a beautiful time of year for family pictures, but any photographer in Rochester will tell you, it’s makes for a busy schedule. Add in weather delays and you have a recipe for chaos.
And so, with a threat of a drizzle, we went ahead with our Tinker Park Candid Mini Sessions. In the end, all of the family’s who came for fall portraits had fun, and even stayed mostly dry!
So if I could give any advice to those looking for Fall family pictures - it’d be this: Plan your family pictures for early in the season. Plan back up dates. And plan for playing in the rain.
Or if those ideas don’t work for you - plan for Spring instead.
