Family Portraits at Tinker Park | Rochester, NY

Fall is a great time for family photos at Tinker Park, especially when you’re capturing moments full of energy and fun. I recently had the pleasure of photographing a lively family at Tinker Park, where a two-year-old with lots of energy and her parents had a blast running, laughing, and chasing each other.

This little one loved to run, and her excitement made for some truly special moments. Instead of trying to get her to sit still, we let her do her thing. She ran through the park, with her parents right behind her, making sure they were part of the fun. This created some fantastic, candid shots that showed the joy and excitement of the moment.

Her parents were just as excited to keep up with her! The session quickly turned into a fun game of chasing, which made for natural, playful photos. It was clear that they weren’t worried about posing perfectly—they were focused on enjoying their time together. These are the kinds of moments that make family photos feel real and personal.

This family portrait session was all about capturing the energy and connection between a fun-loving family. The best family pictures often come from simply enjoying the moment together, and that’s exactly what this portrait session was about. If you’re thinking of booking a family session, don’t worry about posing perfectly. The most important thing is to have fun, and the photos will reflect that.
