Senior Portraits for Clarence High School Class of 2026: Aleks

We first met this family a few years ago when we photographed her sister, Maja, for her senior pictures. Both sisters share a love of figure skating, so when it was Class of 2026, Aleks’s turn, we knew the ice rink would be part of the story again. Watching her glide across the ice, confident and graceful felt like we were sharing another chapter in this family’s story.

For the first part of her senior session, Aleks wanted a setting that reflected her style. She chose the steps of the Abbott Library on the University at Buffalo’s campus for its architectural and urban feel. The steps, columns and textures of the buildings on campus gave her senior photos a strong, quiet confidence which matched her energy perfectly.

For the second half of her senior portraits we headed to the ice rink where Aleks showed off her figure skating skills with ease. These pictures showed her dedication and focus in every photograph. The frozen surface became her stage, just as it had for Maja, but Aleks made it uniquely her own.
