Madeline’s Senior Portraits at Home in Brighton NY

Mercy High School Senior Pictures, Class of 2026

Some high school seniors feel most comfortable having their senior pictures taken at home. For Mercy High School senior, Madeline, home, surrounded by the gardens she’s grown up in was the best Rochester NY senior portrait location in town.

We photographed her among the blooms in her backyard, drawing in her sketchbook, or with her dog or her sweet pet rabbit joining in for a few senior portraits that felt straight out of a storybook. Inside, she played the piano for us, a nod to one of her many creative outlets.

Madeline describes her style as soft and feminine, and her Brighton senior portraits reflected exactly that. Between her love of books, music, art and the natural world, every senior picture felt like an extension of her favorite quote: “With freedom, flowers, books, and the moon, who could not be perfectly happy?”

Since we have photographed her family before, we also took a few updated family portraits together, which is always a favorite part of documenting these milestones. It is a joy to see how our seniors grow year to year and to capture the moments that connect them back to home.

Ready to plan your own senior portrait session? Whether your perfect setting is your backyard, your favorite park, or somewhere new entirely, we’ll help you create senior pictures that fit you in this season of life.
